Port of Grenland has a central role in developing an industrial area of up to 9 km2 at Frier Vest, located on the west side of the FrierFjord. 

The area is suitable for most types of business activity, but is particularly suitable for companies that require access to electric power and quay capacity.

Port of Grenland co-founded the development company Frier Vest AS along with the chemicals company Ineos, and Bamble municipality. Frier Vest lies in an inlet on the west side of the Oslofjord and has good access to infrastructure. Industry is well established in the region and there is great access to a skilled workforce with vocational and academic qualifications. Grenland is particularly well suited to activities that require a lot of space, as it is one of few places along the Oslofjord that offers vast areas of land with direct access to quay facilities for shipping.

Lønnebakke business park AS has developed commercial property on a large plot of land just east of Langangen in Porsgrunn municipality. In total, the plot area is regulated with 930 ODD m2 ​​and it has been named Grenlandsporten. Here, the first 10 commercial plots are now put up for sale or rent.

The area is regulated for industry, business and trade. Its also includes a petrol station / charging point, restaurant and a motel. From here it is only a short distance to Grenland, Larvik and Sandefjord.

Haugan business spark is a large logistics and business area with a very central location by the E18 in Vestfold.

Haugan Business Park can offer plots from 3 acres and up. The fully regulated business area is approx. 100 decare, of which 67 decare are available for development.

This area will be developed as a regional business park with close proximity to the E18 highway and is centrally located on the west side of the Oslo Fjord. A good mix of businesses from logistic and industry to warehousing and offices is planned and is expected to facilitate 250,000-300,000 m2 of usable area when fully utilised. By the northwest roundabout we wish to provide a service center, complete with electric car chargers and a restaurant.
